My path through engineering and military work taught me to appreciate structure, function, and simplicity. After a few years living in different places, I returned to Stockholm where I am currently based.

Monoton grew out of my own need to create — to build objects that are both practical and personal. I’m drawn to the imperfect beauty of handmade work and to the kind of design that leaves space for materials and craftsmanship to speak.
